This role is based in Mt Lawley and Joondalup and Perth City you must be willing to work at all locations to be successful, candidates be willing to travel or need to reside in surrounding suburbs.

About the role

The position is primarily responsible for providing a security presence whilst remaining alert and focused on university campuses. You will be part of an enthusiastic, committed and customer focused team. This physically active role is responsible for the security and safety of the university and its people. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Conduct foot patrols both internally and externally (requires you to walk up to 15 km per day)
• Respond professionally, courteously and promptly to all customer enquiries
• Interact positively with all campus personnel
• Protect assets of the university and follow site lock up procedures
• Respond to first aid enquiries

Skills and experience

• Certificate II in Security Operations & WA security license
• First Aid and CPR certificate
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Can- do attitude
• Full WA Driver’s License
