Change Analyst

Salary: Attractive Hourly Rate

This program involves replacing an outdated Financial Management System (FMS) with a contemporary solution that will transform finance activities across multiple government agencies.

As a Change Analyst, you will support change impact assessments, develop training and communication strategies, and provide change management expertise to ensure stakeholders are prepared for the transition. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-impact project that will shape the future of financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement change strategies, tools, and resources to support the transition to the new FMS.
  • Assess business impacts, facilitate workshops, and design tailored interventions.
  • Develop stakeholder communication plans and create targeted change artefacts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure successful delivery.
  • Evaluate change approaches, analyse documentation, and recommend improvements for system deployment.

Desirable Expertise:

  • Knowledge of finance/accounting processes in complex environments.
  • Experience working on large-scale projects or within complex organisational structures.
  • Familiarity with Oracle or other Financial Management Systems.
  • Certifications in methods such as PRINCE2, Agile, PMBOK, Prosci (e.g., ADKAR), or similar frameworks.
  • Understanding of SA Public Sector policies and procedures.

This role may require:

  • A Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check.
  • Some out-of-hours work or travel (intrastate/interstate).
  • The incumbent will also participate in performance management programs and may be assigned other positions at the same remuneration level within the department.
