Chief Financial Officer (CFO) - Healthcare #HJO
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic financial leadership and oversee the organisation's financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
- Establish and maintain robust financial controls, governance frameworks, risk management practices, and regulatory compliance.
- Advise the CEO and Board on financial performance, strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and organisational growth.
- Lead audits, tax matters, statutory reporting, and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
- Develop and enhance finance policies, systems, and processes to support operational excellence.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, funding models, and initiatives to support long-term organisational sustainability.
- Identify and pursue government grants, philanthropic funding, corporate sponsorships, and other funding opportunities.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with government agencies, healthcare providers, community organisations, donors, and corporate partners.
- Drive business development initiatives by identifying new services, revenue streams, and innovation opportunities aligned with the organisation's mission.
- Present financial reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to the Board and senior management.
- Perform other strategic and financial leadership responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience in senior finance leadership, financial management, or Chief Financial Officer roles.
- Experience within the community care, healthcare, social services, charity, non-profit, or social enterprise sector is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of corporate governance, risk management, compliance, and internal controls.
- Proven ability to engage with Boards, senior leadership, government agencies, and external stakeholders.
