Civil & Structural Design Engineer

This will role with provide excellent opportunities for career advancement within a structural design department working on projects within the Pharma, Life Sciences, Mission Critical and Food & Beverage sectors.

Responsibilities
- Perform structural design and analysis for buildings and structures, including reinforced concrete and structural steelwork.
- Develop structural calculations, design documentation and coordinate the production of drawings.
- Use relevant structural analysis and design software to support engineering deliverables.
- Coordinate regularly with clients, internal multidisciplinary teams and other project stakeholders.
- Build effective working relationships and contribute positively within a collaborative project environment.
- Provide engineering support during construction, including responding to contractor queries and conducting site inspections as required.
Requirements
- A degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 5 years post graduate structural design experience
- Practical experience in the design of reinforced concrete and steel structures.
- Proficiency in relevant structural engineering design and analysis software.
- Good communication, coordination and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
