Claims Manager - Aviation

- Claims manager responsible for technical oversight of aviation liability claims for North America supervising in-house adjusting staff, outside independent adjusters and attorneys
- Will be primary contact on key client accounts as well as for brokers
- Provide appropriate indemnity and expense reserving philosophy for the company
- Handle an inventory of claims and provide supervision of lawsuits for third party litigation
- Conduct limited file reviews
- Bill time on billable files
- Assist with marketing presentations for new business and the retention of current clients
Qualifications
- BA in Business Administration or equivalent discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 8-12 years of progressively more complex aviation or premises liability claim adjusting experience
- Prefer advanced designation such as AIC, SCLA, or CPCU
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written skills
