About the role

We are seeking a Power BI & Data Engineer to develop, establish, and govern our next-generation unified cloud analytics ecosystem. In this strategic technical role, you will define the end-to-end data architecture—transitioning legacy business intelligence environments into a modern, unified Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data infrastructure.

You will develop and support Microsoft Fabric and Power BI analytics solutions, create semantic models and datasets, build interactive dashboards and reports, and optimize data visualization performance. You will work with OneLake, Direct Lake, and other Fabric capabilities to deliver scalable analytics solutions, while supporting CI/CD processes, governance standards, and data security requirements. Working closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and solution architects, you will help deliver reliable, high-quality reporting and analytics solutions that enable data-driven decision-making

Key Responsibilities:

1. Power BI Development & Analytics

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and scorecards.
• Develop semantic models, DAX measures, and Power Query transformations.
• Create scalable data models following dimensional modeling best practices.
• Optimize report performance, refresh times, and query execution.

1. Microsoft Fabric & Data Platform

• Build and support analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, Dataflows, Semantic Models, and OneLake.
• Integrate data from SQL Server, Azure SQL, Data Lake, APIs, and other enterprise sources.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and Architects to implement modern analytics solutions.

1. Governance & Security

• Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and workspace access controls.
• Follow organizational standards for governance, deployment, documentation, and data security.
• Support report lifecycle management across Development, Test, and Production environments.

What we’re looking for

• Overall Experience: 3+ years in IT/ Business Intelligence, Analytics, Data Engineering, or related data-focused roles, with strong hands-on expertise in Power BI and exposure to Microsoft Fabric (minimum 1 year MS Fabric).

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric components, including OneLake, Lakehouse, Dataflows, Warehouses, and Semantic Models and advanced DAX optimization.

• Understanding of IaaS/PaaS/SaaS
• Understanding or working knowledge of AI.
• Azure Infrastructure Mastery: Proven track record designing Azure Data landing zones, VNets, Private Endpoints, Infrastructure as Code (Bicep/Terraform), and Azure Data Factory/Databricks data pipelines.

• Certifications (Strong Advantage): Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203) | Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)
