Position overview:
We are seeking a skilled CMM Programmer / Quality Inspector to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The CMM Programmer / Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products meet the required quality standards through inspection, testing, and documentation. This role plays a key part in identifying and resolving quality issues, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining compliance with internal and external standards.Role & Responsibilities:
- CMM Programming (Open DMIS)
- PPAP Activities
- Prepares rejection notices and verify defects on return material
- Read blueprints and specifications
- Measure products with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers
- Assess performant, ensures all work center employees are following press operator procedures, set up sheets, route sheets, special inspection instruction sheets, and all work instructions (verbal and written) correctly – coach and take corrective action as needed
- Completes special assignments or projects established to achieve “continuous quality improvement”
- Report and record inspections and test data
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by supervisor
