Commercial Manager (m/f/d) Hympavzi - Secondment
fixed-term for 12 months
ROLE SUMMARY
The Innovating for Growth organization is an agile, efficient, and innovative cluster-led model, designed to unlock growth and accelerate impact for patients. It is centered on uniting colleagues under a single cluster identity, leveraging AI and digital tools, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The new structure enables dynamic resource allocation, rapid learning and a start-up spirit that empowers teams to act entrepreneurially. Ultimately, I4G aims to reach more patients, faster, with greater impact and collaboration across countries where empowered teams unlock greater value than ever before.
At Pfizer, we are driven by our purpose to improve patients' lives. The Commercial Manager Hympavzi is a combined commercial role for Switzerland that blends in-country portfolio ownership with hands-on field engagement. Around half of working time is spent in the field, visiting Switzerland's 14 hemophilia treatment centers, building relationships with treating physicians and specialized nurses, and developing key opinion leaders (KOLs). The role owns the Hympavzi (marstacimab) brand strategy and execution in Switzerland, aligning marketing and sales activities to accelerate appropriate patient access to this once-weekly subcutaneous prophylactic therapy for hemophilia A and B. The Commercial Manager Hympavzi combines scientific and category expertise with field-based selling to drive uptake across the country's hemophilia centres, tracks key performance indicators, and gathers customer insights to enhance customer experience and improve outcomes for people living with hemophilia.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
You can look forward to:
Field Engagement, Selling & KOL Development
Spend approximately half of working time in the field, conducting regular in-person visits across Switzerland's 14 hemophilia treatment centres.
Build and maintain trusted relationships with treating haematologists, specialised nurses, hospital pharmacists, centre coordinators at each hemophilia centre as well as Haemophilia patient association.
Identify, develop, and mobilise key opinion leaders (KOLs) in hemophilia, building an advocacy network in accordance with Pfizer policies.
Deliver the Hympavzi value proposition and scientific narrative in-call, tailoring messaging to each centre and customer, and confidently addressing clinical questions on prophylaxis and the rebalancing mechanism of action.
Develop and execute account plans for each hemophilia centre, using CRM (e.g. Veeva) to plan calls and maintain accurate territory intelligence, and supporting the appropriate identification of eligible patient populations for once-weekly subcutaneous prophylaxis.
Brand Ownership & Planning
Own the Hympavzi brand plan and Plan of Action (POA) for Switzerland, aligned with the Cluster Category Lead and the wider cluster strategy.
Work with Marketing Operations Team to localise promotional and educational materials for Swiss customers, leveraging Gen AI where possible, and ensure all content is medically and legally approved before use.
Plan and execute congress, symposia, disease-awareness activities or patient support programs relevant to the Swiss hemophilia community.
Support launch and indication-expansion readiness, assuming responsibility for new indications 6 to 12 months ahead of approval.
Market Intelligence & Segmentation
Develop deep knowledge of the Swiss hemophilia landscape and competitor therapies (e.g. factor replacement, emicizumab, and other non-factor or rebalancing agents), feeding insights to the Cluster Category Lead and Cluster Commercial Leads.
Shape customer segmentation and targeting across the Swiss hemophilia centres, aligning marketing segmentation with customer segmentation to maximise impact.
Market Access & Cross-functional Collaboration
Collaborate closely with Medical and Market Access to support hospital listing, reimbursement, and patient-support initiatives, in full compliance with Swiss codes.
Performance, Budget & Compliance
Monitor performance against brand KPIs and field-effectiveness metrics, take corrective action where needed, and manage the Hympavzi DME (promotional and territory) budget for Switzerland.
Operate with the highest standards of integrity and compliance in all customer-facing and promotional activities, adhering to Swiss Law and applicable Swiss pharma cooperation codes.
AI Fluency & Self-development
Become and stay AI fluent, using available AI tools to improve field productivity, customer insight, and overall impact.
