Commercial Manager
Role objective
Build and lead the commercial function, with direct responsibility for revenue growth, new business development, key accounts, retail sales, VIP/tailor-made clients, partnerships, and the sales team.
The commercial manager should be a strong business developer and relationship builder, not only a sales administrator.
Key responsibilities
- Own and achieve company sales and commercial targets.
- Actively acquire new B2B and corporate accounts.
- Develop and grow existing key accounts.
- Build relationships with decision-makers, corporate clients, VIPs, hotels, banks, automotive, hospitality and other relevant sectors.
- Manage and develop the retail/sales team.
- Oversee the commercial side of tailor-made jackets and VIP clients.
- Develop partnerships, wholesale, consignment and other new sales channels.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and ensure disciplined follow-up.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial terms and close deals.
- Coordinate with operations, marketing, production and logistics to ensure successful delivery.
- Maintain accurate client, opportunity and pipeline information in the company’s CRM/Odoo.
- Provide weekly commercial reports and forecasts to management.
Requirements
Candidate profile
- 7+ years of sales/business development experience.
- Strong track record in acquiring and growing accounts.
- Experience in premium/luxury, corporate gifting, fashion, hospitality, automotive or relationship-driven businesses preferred.
- Excellent negotiation, networking and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership and follow-up discipline.
- Commercially and financially minded.
- Fluent Arabic and English; French is an advantage.
- Existing corporate/VIP network is a major advantage.
