Commodities Trading: Assistant Credit Manager/Credit Manager
*Seeking for an Assistant Credit Manager/Credit Manager with minimum 5 years of Credit Analysis experience in Commodities and/or banking*
THE COMPANY
This is an established and reputable commodities firm. They are expanding and seeks for an Assistant Credit Manager/Credit Manager to set up their Credit team.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Credit Assessment and Underwriting
- Perform comprehensive credit analysis for counterparties
- Execute regular credit reviews to assign internal credit ratings and risk limits
- Provide credit advisory support to traders
Portfolio Monitoring and Risk Mitigation
- Track credit exposures and manage limit breaches
- Monitor global macroeconomic and industry credit events to proactively mitigate risk
KYC & Compliance
- Support Know-Your-Customer (KYC) on-boarding and periodic review
- Conduct KYC documentation collection, verification, and quality assurance checks to ensure client records are accurate, complete, and consistent
- Ensure all KYC are carried out in strict compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders
- Align credit activities with the Group Credit Policy and standard operating procedures
Work closely with traders, counterparties and other stakeholders
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor degree holder in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 5 years of credit analysis experience in Commodities and/or banking
- Experience in KYC would be an advantage
- Independent, analytical and meticulous
- Proven autonomy to manage conflicting priorities and thrive under tight deadlines
