Communications Manager

Build and grow online and offline communities of AI/ML, crypto, and research enthusiasts while delivering content and activities. Execute fundraising outreach, manage events, develop token-based promotions, build APAC-focused communities, write blog content, seek partnerships, coordinate stakeholders, and improve business assets in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Build online and offline communities of AI/ML, crypto, and research enthusiasts.
• Execute fundraising outreach to investors, communities, and syndicates.
• Manage speaking opportunities, co-organized events, merchandise, and marketing partnerships.
• Develop token-based promotions, competitions, and crowdsourcing opportunities.
• Build APAC-focused online communities on regional social media.
• Write blogs and content that stand out from generic AI-generated text.
• Seek partnerships with Layer1s and DeFi protocols.
• Manage stakeholders including KoLs, growth hackers, partners, and celebrities.
• Improve decks, whitepapers, websites, and proposal materials.
• Execute tasks directly rather than delegating.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional crypto experience in community growth, tech sales, presales marketing, or fundraising.
• At least 3 years of experience in an early-stage or growth-stage startup across crypto, AI, fintech, gaming, gambling, or forex.
• Demonstrated ability to work with VIPs, whales, and investors.
• Experience using AI tools such as Copilot and GPT for CRM.
• Strong understanding of social media, AI-assisted marketing, viral trends, and growth hacking.
• Strong communication skills and fluent English.
• Experience working in a non-corporate environment.
• Self-starter comfortable with chaotic, unconventional, and non-linear work.
