Compliance Officer
Monitoring the implementation of internal systems, instructions, and policies, organizing compliance records and documentation, and assisting in the preparation of reports and periodic requirements related to the insurance authority and relevant entities.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring updates to systems, instructions, and circulars related to the insurance sector.
- Organizing and maintaining compliance files, records, and regulatory forms.
- Assisting in the preparation of periodic compliance reports and following up on observations and corrective actions.
- Coordinating with departments to provide necessary documents and regulatory requirements.
- Monitoring the implementation of approved internal policies and procedures.
- Assisting in tracking customer complaints, suspicious cases, and combating fraud and money laundering.
- Assisting in implementing compliance awareness and training programs.
- Monitoring deadlines and ensuring timely submission of reports and requirements.
- Maintaining the confidentiality of information and documents.
- Executing other compliance-related tasks as directed by the Compliance Manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in compliance, insurance, or regulatory affairs, preferably in the insurance sector.
- Good knowledge of systems, instructions, governance, and internal control.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
- Fluency in Arabic and good knowledge of English.
- Certification in Insurance Fundamentals is a plus.
