Construction And Maintenance Senior Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement construction and maintenance strategies aligned with business and operational requirements.
- Lead construction, renovation, expansion, and infrastructure development projects across company sites.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure the reliability and availability of facilities and infrastructure.
- Manage contractors, consultants, suppliers, and service providers, ensuring compliance with agreed standards, timelines, budgets, and SLAs.
- Monitor project progress, quality, costs, and timelines and ensure timely completion of construction and maintenance projects.
- Ensure all construction and maintenance activities comply with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and manage annual construction and maintenance budgets and identify cost optimization opportunities.
- Establish preventive maintenance plans and monitor equipment and infrastructure performance.
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure timely resolution of technical and maintenance issues.
- Manage emergency maintenance and critical incidents to minimize operational disruptions.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Facilities, Procurement, Finance, HSE, and other relevant departments.
- Evaluate contractors’ performance and implement corrective actions where required.
- Develop and monitor KPIs related to project delivery, maintenance efficiency, costs, quality, and service availability.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the construction and maintenance team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 8–12 years of experience in construction, infrastructure, facilities, or maintenance, with proven managerial experience.
- Experience in telecommunications, infrastructure, utilities, construction, or large-scale organizations is preferred.
- Strong experience in managing construction and maintenance projects from planning through execution.
- Proven experience managing contractors, consultants, and multiple concurrent projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction standards, maintenance practices, HSE requirements, and quality control.
- Experience in budget management, cost control, and contract management.
- Strong project management, negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
