Job Summary

The Construction Manager (Electrical) leads electrical construction activities for LTA tunnel infrastructure projects, ensuring safe, on-time, and budget-compliant delivery from planning through commissioning and handover.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all electrical construction activities on site to ensure compliance with project plans and quality standards
• Coordinate effectively with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other trades to align project execution
• Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and method statements to guide construction works
• Develop and monitor detailed electrical work schedules to meet project timelines
• Ensure all electrical installations adhere to approved drawings, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
• Inspect workmanship, materials, and overall quality to maintain high construction standards
• Manage inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover processes for LTA tunnel infrastructure projects
• Oversee manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractor performance to optimize resource utilization
• Resolve technical issues on site and coordinate Requests for Information (RFIs) and technical queries promptly
• Enforce compliance with safety protocols and promote safe working practices on site
• Track project progress, control costs, manage variations, and maintain accurate project documentation
• Prepare and review as-built drawings, test reports, and handover documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5–10 years of electrical construction experience managing site teams and subcontractors
• Strong knowledge of electrical installation, testing, and commissioning processes
• Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications
• Good understanding of electrical codes, standards, and safety requirements
• Effective communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines
• Relevant professional certifications or licenses, where required
