Construction Manager

Job Summary

The Construction Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising construction projects from start to completion. The role ensures that projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards, contract requirements, and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and manage all construction activities on site.
  • Supervise site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and labor teams.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed according to approved schedules.
  • Manage project budgets, costs, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Identify project risks and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Conduct site inspections and quality control checks.
  • Prepare progress reports, meeting minutes, and project documentation.
  • Ensure all work complies with local building codes, regulations, and company standards.
  • Resolve construction issues and support timely project completion.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications are an advantage.

Experience

  • 8–15 years of experience in construction, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Experience managing commercial, residential, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
