CONSUMER CREDIT ASSESSMENT ANALYST
JOB PURPOSE
To assess the minimum credit acceptance criteria of the assigned products according to the set policies, procedures and guidelines for assessment, evaluating and managing a diverse portfolio of credit facilities, including personal loans, credit cards, overdraft, Auto loans, letter of guarantee “LG”, Mortgage. Also, to conduct analysis of credit applications, ensuring compliance with the established policies and regulatory requirements, and effectively managing the assessment of associated risks.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Description
1. Perform detailed assessment of credit applications across various products, including personal loans, credit cards, overdraft, mortgage loans, letter of guarantee "LG", and Mortgage, while ensuring the applications align with the bank's credit policies, acceptance criteria, and regulatory requirements to mitigate risk and support sound credit decisions.
2. Handle effectively handle all assigned credit files to achieve productivity targets while adhering to the Turnaround Time of Asset Products, and ensure that each application is processed swiftly while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
3. Deliver high-quality results by ensuring thorough review and verification of all documentation, and maintain meticulous attention to detail to ensure precise and reliable credit assessments, thereby supporting informed decision-making.
4.Assist in identifying potential risks in relevant loan applications and recommend appropriate risk mitigations, including collateral requirements or adjustments to loan terms.
5. Ensure all required documentation is collected and completed accurately, maintaining compliance with internal policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
6. Conduct thorough assessments of loan applications to identify potential fraud indicators, such as discrepancies in documentation, unusual financial patterns, or inconsistencies in borrower information.
7. Work closely with business teams, collections teams, and other internal stakeholders to gather necessary information, provide input, and facilitate the credit approval process along with maintaining clear and consistent communication with internal teams and external clients
8. Handle customer’s request that requires an exceptional approval by assessing risks and evaluating justifications for non-standard loan structures, and ensure proper documentation and approval processes are followed to maintain compliance and mitigate risks.
9. Assess borrowers' capacity to service debt through detailed analysis of cash flow, income, and other financial metrics, ensuring that loan terms are appropriate for the client's financial position.
10. Conduct the required document validation along with the needed verification which is considered a mandate perquisite for credit assessment process.
11. Accurately input credit application data into both manual and automated systems, including the T24 system, ensuring high data quality for accurate portfolio monitoring, and maintain precise alignment between manual and automated systems to enhance operational efficiency and streamline workflows.

Bachelor’s degree of Commerce, Business Administration, Accounting or their equivalent
Minimum of 0 to 2 years of experience

Good command of Arabic and English languages
