Content Creator (Videographer & Editor)
Content Creator (Videographer & Editor)
Full-Time · $2,800 - $3,200/month + CPF · The Smart Home Gym Pte Ltd
About the role
We're Singapore's official distributor for Speediance, a smart home gym that replaces a full rack of equipment with one machine. Our showroom at Queensway is where people come to try it, and almost everything worth filming happens there: real customers, real first reactions, real training.
This role is the hands-on production side of that. You shoot it and you cut it. If you'd rather be behind a camera and in a timeline than in a strategy deck, this is the job.
You'll work alongside our existing creative lead, so you're joining a content function that already exists rather than building one from nothing.
What you'll do
- Shoot video content at the showroom and on location, handling camera, framing, lighting and audio
- Edit and deliver finished assets for social platforms, including cutdowns and vertical formats
- Manage footage properly: file organisation, backups, and an asset library people can actually find things in
- Work from a content plan and turn briefs into finished pieces
- Capture product, lifestyle and customer footage, including demos and testimonials
Output expectations
This is an outcome-based role. We'll expect roughly five completed video assets per week and a minimum of twenty per calendar month, alongside a weekly plan and a short performance update.
Your own gear
You'll shoot on your own kit. We'd rather you work on a setup you already know inside out than hand you an unfamiliar body and lose a month to figuring it out. If a job calls for something you don't have, lights, a lens, audio, we'll supply the add-on kit.
What we're looking for
- Your own camera and editing setup, and real fluency with it
- Confident operating solo. You understand exposure, framing and audio, and you can shoot without supervision.
- Strong editing skills in Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci or CapCut. Show us the cut, not the software.
- A portfolio or reel. This matters more than a CV or a qualification.
- Able to work quickly without the quality dropping, since consistency is the whole job
- Comfortable directing people who aren't performers, since most of your subjects will be ordinary customers
Useful but not essential: motion graphics, colour grading, an interest in fitness, experience with product or fitness content.
Working arrangement
Full-time, with flexibility in how you structure your day. Filming happens where the product and customers are, so expect meaningful time at the Queensway showroom, including some evenings and weekends when the floor is busy. Editing can be done wherever you work best.
Your first two weeks include showroom immersion, watching real customer conversations and objections. It's the fastest way to understand what content actually needs to say.
What we offer
- $3,200/month plus CPF
- Three-month probation
- Direct access to the people running the business, with no layers between you and a decision
- Creative input rather than executing someone else's storyboard
- Gear you already know, with add-on kits supplied when a shoot needs them
Good timing to join
We're expanding the team to film more, create more, and explore.
