CONTRACT MANAGER (Legal/Law for construction)
We are looking for an experienced Contract Manager to support contract administration for upstream and downstream construction projects, working closely with internal teams and external counterparties.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and manage agreements (NDAs, tenders, service agreements, standard contract forms e.g. RDAS, SIA, PSSCOC, FIDIC Silver/Yellow Book) with appropriate risk mitigation
Compile main contract and subcontract documentation
Support negotiations with counterparties
Participate in dispute/risk mitigation processes per company SOPs
Attend department/group meetings and stay updated on projects
Collaborate across teams to share best practices, playbooks, and templates
Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on contract processes
Maintain contract and document tracking systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying (Mechanical/Electrical) or equivalent
- Chartered Surveyor accreditation (RICS, AIQS) preferred
- 3–5 years' relevant experience in construction consultancy, QS firms, expert witness, or law firm settings
- Experience in semiconductor/data center projects is a plus
- Strong contract administration, negotiation, and organisational skills
- Familiar with claims processes and the SOP Act
- Proficient in MS Office, OneDrive, Teams, Adobe
- Meticulous, detail-oriented, strong interpersonal skills
- Occasional travel required
