Contracts/Commercial Manager (Construction)

Bayes is representing an International Specialist Contractor on a Commercial Manager (Contracts Management) role.

• Manage commercial and contractual risk across ASEAN projects in the specialist construction contracting sector

• Review tender contract terms, flag unacceptable risks, and negotiate departures with clients

• Shape commercial and contract strategy alongside bid leaders

• Brief project teams on key risks, entitlements and procurement/subcontract matters

• Guide teams through change management, claims and dispute resolution

• Audit contractual compliance, manage external legal support, and escalate major claims to leadership

• Capture lessons learned at project close-out and drive continuous improvement in commercial practices

Requirements:

• Degree in a relevant Civil, Engineering or QS discipline

• Around 7-10 years of prior experience in handling contract administration for construction projects.

• The ability to present and carry yourself well is important for the success of this role.
