Contracts Manager (Project: Pasir Ris LTA Project)

Our client, a renowned building & construction firm, has an opportunity for a Winner to join the Team as a Contracts Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the full spectrum of contract administration and commercial activities for building and/or civil construction projects
• Review tender and contract documents, specifications, drawings and contractual requirements
• Handle pre-contract and post-contract activities, including tendering, cost estimation, procurement, contract administration and final accounts
• Prepare, evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations, tenders and contract awards
• Manage progress claims, variation orders, cost claims, Extension of Time (EOT) and other contractual matters
• Monitor project costs, budgets, cash flow and commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle
• Identify potential contractual and commercial risks and advise the project team on appropriate mitigation measures
• Assess and certify subcontractor progress claims, variations and final accounts
• Prepare and submit claims and supporting documentation to clients and consultants

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Building, Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 8 years of relevant contracts / quantity surveying experience within the construction industry
• Prior experience with a main contractor is highly preferred
