Location: Bogotá, Colombia – Remote initially, transitioning to Hybrid
Contract: Contractor initially; potential transition to EOR once the Colombia office is established
Salary: USD $1,800–$2,000/month + 10% monthly performance bonus
Languages: Full professional English required; Spanish strongly preferred
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Corporate Affairs & Operations Coordinator to support senior leadership with corporate governance, entity management, compliance, and cross-border operations.
The role involves coordinating with external advisors and international stakeholders, maintaining corporate records, tracking deadlines, and supporting the establishment of the company's presence in Colombia. The position will begin remotely and transition to hybrid in Bogotá once the local office is operational.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain corporate, entity management, and compliance documentation across multiple jurisdictions.
- Support incorporations, statutory filings, legal representative changes, annual filings, good standing certificates, and dissolutions.
- Coordinate with law firms, corporate service providers, and international stakeholders.
- Maintain entity records, trackers, organizational charts, and corporate documentation.
- Support KYC, due diligence, onboarding, and compliance processes.
- Track deadlines, documents, follow-ups, and deliverables across multiple projects.
- Support the setup of the Bogotá office, including researching locations and coordinating with vendors and service providers.
Requirements
- Experience with corporate affairs, entity management, corporate governance, compliance, or related administrative processes.
- Understanding of corporate filings, entity maintenance, and governance documentation.
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Full professional proficiency in English.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with international stakeholders.
- Proactive, dependable, and comfortable working independently.
Preferred
- Background in law, business administration, international relations, compliance, or a related field. Legal qualification is not required.
- Experience supporting multinational or cross-border operations.
- Experience with corporate service providers, law firms, or entity management.
- Familiarity with Colombian corporate and business processes.
- Experience coordinating vendors, office setup, or operational projects.
