Corporate Development Manager
- Leading investment firm / diversified conglomerate (buyside role)
- Permanent headcount based in Singapore, sector agnostic
- Compensation: SGD 10K-13K + VB on top
Responsibilities:
- Originate, evaluate and execute strategic investments across Asia-Pacific.
- Assess strategic fit, commercial attractiveness and investment rationale
- Conduct financial modelling, projections and valuation analyses
- Lead due diligence, transaction structuring and coordination with external advisers through signing and closing
- Prepare Investment Committee and senior management materials, drive internal approval processes
- Support post-investment governance, monitoring and long-term value creation
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of sector developments, market trends, and competitor activity
Profile of Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in Private Equity, Strategic Investing, Corporate Development, Investment Banking
- Strong technical skills, M&A track record, commercial judgment, ownership, and an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and originate investment opportunities
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively across cultures, functions and seniority levels, with a genuine interest in long-term strategic investing and business building
- Excellent research and analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and external stakeholders
