Credit Control Manager

* Evaluate credit applications and perform credit checks on new and existing customers.
* Manage and liaise with credit insurance to ensure customers' credit limits in place
* Assess and prepare internal approvals for credit limits when necessary
* Conduct credit risk analysis and regularly review customer portfolios to minimize bad debt and optimize
receivables
* Handle disputes and negotiate payment arrangements with delinquent customers to recover outstanding
debts
* Ensure credit control processes and procedures are in compliance with company standards and polices
* Supervise the credit control team and work closely with clients and internal business units to resolve dispute
* Timely collections and reduce exposure to potential bad debt
* Recommends to stop delivery to customers who fail to pay promptly
* Recommends to take legal action against problematic customers
* Update the management any credit related development in order to mitigate the credit risk
* Degree or Diploma in Business / Commerce or related field
* Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar function and 3-5 years of managerial experience
* Strong understanding of credit control policies, contact and business law
* Knowledgeable about current economic outlook and situation and kept abreast of overall market credit
performance
* Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
* 5 days work week
