Credit Risk Analyst
We are looking for a Credit Risk Analyst to support SME credit risk assessment within a regulated financial services environment. The role combines financial analysis and credit exposure assessment with Customer Due Diligence (CDD), AML/KYC controls, customer verification and ongoing risk monitoring. Strong candidates should bring practical credit or lending experience together with hands-on exposure to CDD and AML processes.
Responsibilities
• Verify SME customer credit applications
• Perform Customer Due Diligence as part of credit risk assessment
• Support AML compliance requirements
• Analyse financial statements and customer documentation
• Review credit bureau reports and bank references
• Analyse publicly available customer and company information
• Calculate credit and risk exposure
• Identify potential credit, fraud and compliance risks
• Cooperate with customers, banks and financial institutions
• Work with internal teams on fraud and abuse prevention
• Monitor and verify customer transactions
• Analyse customer loan portfolio quality
• Recommend corrective actions where risk deterioration is identified
• Maintain accurate documentation supporting credit decisions
Requirements
• Commercial experience in Credit Risk, Credit Analysis, Lending or a related financial area
• Experience with Customer Due Diligence
• Understanding of AML compliance
• Experience analysing customer financial information and documentation
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
• Ability to assess customer and credit risk
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Good English
• Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or a related area
