Location: Boston Ma 02115
Rate: $20-25 per hour
Duration 12 months
Part time 14 hours a week
Saturday and Sunday's
The Guest Services Coordinator supports the Guest Services Team with daily front desk and back-office operations, program check-ins and check-outs, participant requests, and overall guest support. Provides professional, responsive customer service and concierge assistance while coordinating with campus partners to resolve questions and meet participant needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with program check-ins and check-outs and provide front desk coverage.
- Support daily front desk and back-office operations.
- Respond to participant, faculty, staff, student, and visitor requests in person, by phone, email, or other communication channels.
- Provide concierge services and assist with routine, complex, and specialized requests.
- Collaborate with on-campus partners and internal teams to troubleshoot issues and resolve problems.
- Assist with guest and participant needs while maintaining a positive, professional, and welcoming experience.
- Support projects and initiatives with Operations, IT, Program Delivery, and MBA Services.
- Assist with projects such as security sign replacements, technology upgrades, group gift distribution, and other operational activities.
- Maintain accurate and secure records and handle confidential information appropriately.
- Learn department services, programs, policies, procedures, and technology systems.
- Remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented when handling challenging situations.
- Perform additional administrative and operational duties as needed.
Schedule:
- Fridays and Sundays
- Occasional Saturdays
Qualifications:
- Previous customer service, guest services, administrative, or front desk experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with experience working directly with the public.
- Customer-focused approach with a commitment to providing positive and professional interactions.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to remain calm, poised, and resilient in challenging situations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality and security of information.
- Technical aptitude and willingness to learn new software applications and systems.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams and campus partners.
- Previous experience in a university or higher education environment is helpful.
