Cybersecurity Engineer
Contract: 1-Year Contract
Work Location: Changi, Singapore

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the leading global banks and be part of cybersecurity team responsible for safeguarding critical business operations.

Requirements

• Experience in Security Operations, Cyber Security, Information Security, or a related field.
• Experience working with security technologies, network devices, and security monitoring platforms.
• Strong understanding of network security practices across enterprise environments, including Intranet, Extranet, and Internet connectivity.
• Hands-on experience supporting and troubleshooting UNIX, AIX, Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Good knowledge of intrusion detection methodologies, TCP/IP networking, cybersecurity principles, operating systems, and web-based technologies.
• Experience analyzing network traffic and packet-level data to identify security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Familiarity with Network and Host Security technologies, including firewalls, NIDS/NIPS, HIPS, antivirus solutions, and vulnerability management tools.
• Experience conducting vulnerability assessments, application security testing, penetration testing, forensic investigations, and/or security reviews.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple security events and incidents in a fast-paced operational environment.

Work Schedule

• This role operates within a 24x7 Security Operations Centre (SOC) environment and requires participation in a rotating shift roster, including day and night shifts, weekends, and public holidays, to support continuous security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response activities.
