Purpose of the Job

Job Description

Software Development

• Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications and backend services using .NET Framework and .NET Core.


• Build and maintain responsive user interface components using JavaScript and React.js.


• Design, develop, and consume REST APIs and contribute to microservices-based solutions.


• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and testable code in line with engineering standards.


• Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, estimation, and peer collaboration.

Application Support & Maintenance

• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues across web applications and APIs.


• Support legacy .NET Framework applications while contributing to modernization initiatives using .NET Core and React.js.


• Perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable fixes for recurring issues.


• Support production releases and assist with post-release validation when required.

Database & Integration

• Use SQL for basic data querying, validation, and troubleshooting.


• Integrate applications with internal and external services through APIs and service-based integrations.


• Work with JSON payloads and understand data flow between frontend, backend, databases, and external services.

Engineering Practices

• Use Git for source control and follow team branching, pull request, and code review practices.


• Work within CI/CD processes and support build, test, and deployment activities.


• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, Security, Product, and Business teams to deliver reliable solutions.


• Follow secure coding, performance, reliability, and maintainability best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Docker or containerized applications.


• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.


• Knowledge of unit testing and automated testing practices.


• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery teams and enterprise application environments

Job Requirements - Experience and Education

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline


• 2-3 years of professional software development experience


• Core Technical Skills

• Good hands-on knowledge of .NET Framework and .NET Core / modern .NET.


• Good knowledge of JavaScript and React.js for frontend development.


• Basic knowledge of SQL, including writing queries for data validation and troubleshooting.


• Good understanding of microservices concepts and service-based application architecture.


• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and working with JSON.


• Good troubleshooting and debugging skills across frontend and backend applications.


• Familiarity with Git and standard software development lifecycle practices.


• Basic awareness of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
