About the Role:
The Customer Success team at Remitly is dedicated to earning lifetime loyalty and trust from our customers by promptly addressing their questions and resolving issues. As a Data Analyst on this team, you will work with operations leaders and data analytics engineers. You will build metrics and dashboards, dig into why the numbers moved, and surface opportunities to improve the processes our agents and customers rely on. The quantitative work you produce directly shapes how the team takes action.
You will report directly to the Analytics Manager. This is a hybrid remote/in-office position based in Managua, Nicaragua (#LI-Hybrid).
You Will:
- Provide analytical support for a defined focus area within Customer Success.
- Build reporting operations leaders rely on to run the business, and measure the effectiveness of operational processes.
- Turn business questions into clear analysis requirements, surfacing insights that point to concrete improvements.
- Investigate emergent issues, size them with data, and communicate findings to all kinds of audiences.
- Ask "why," treating unexpected results as opportunities to improve — and keep your work reproducible and easy to review.
- Learn Customer Success's strategy, metrics, and partner teams.
You Have:
- A Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Statistics, Economics, or a related discipline), or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in an analytics role; internships, co-ops, or research projects count.
- The ability to write SQL to pull, join, and aggregate data.
- The ability to build clear, useful dashboards in a tool like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Command of core statistical concepts such as regression, probability, and hypothesis testing.
- Familiarity with data modeling, Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL), data warehousing concepts and working with data in Python or R.
- Curiosity: you ask why, and you treat an unexpected number as something to chase down rather than accept.
