Data Analyst (Transportation industry / Training provided) PNHP
Job Purpose:
Railway infrastructure such as tracks, tunnels and viaducts are inspected and monitored routinely to ensure safe use. Increasingly, the use of inspection technologies such as photo imaging systems, laser and ultrasonic scan systems are used alongside more traditional track visual inspections methods to determine the condition of the infrastructure. Railway buildings and facilities are also equipped with smart environmental control, pump monitoring, and lift control systems.
The defect and asset condition information from multiple inspection sources need to be aligned, processed, stored, and fused a linear asset data warehouse. The combined data can then be retrieved to 1) ascertain linear asset condition; 2) compliance to LTA code of practices; 3) fault diagnostics; 4) reliability centred maintenance program development; 5) spares provisioning.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare and vet regulatory compliance reports
Perform failure and reliability trending of Track Infra and Building & Facilities Systems.
Support Engineering and Systems Management on:
o Generation of asset condition reports
o Reliability improvement initiatives such as maintenance program reviews
o Spares provisioning Develop the data governance requirements for NSM entities
Developing extract-transform-load (ETL) scripts to ensure a high level of data quality to upkeep of NSM linear asset repository
Work with Data Engineers and Cloud Solutions Architect to implement data pipelines and dashboards.
Ensure that people, process, and technology aspects of technology induction are addressed.
Scout for and implement commercial off-the-shelf maintenance technologies
Qualifications and Work Experience
Work experience in a data analysis role is beneficial
Training is provided
Proficient in Excel Proficient in Python and its data science packages
Proficient in Power BI
Having Microsoft Azure Data Engineer certification & Microsoft Azure Data Scientist certification will be a bonus
