Data Center Project Manager – GPU Infrastructure
Summary
Manage the full lifecycle of GPU data center facilities for a fast-growing AI company, from resource contracting and equipment deployment through rack installation, platform launch, and ongoing 24/7 operations, coordinating vendors and operators to deliver infrastructure for large-scale AI training and inference.
We are a fast growing AI technology company expanding our global GPU computing infrastructure.We are planning to build our own GPU data centers overseas to provide critical infrastructure for large-scale training, inference, and our future AI computing business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of GPU computing facilities, from resource contracting, equipment deployment and rack installation to platform launch, acceptance and ongoing operations.
- Drive project schedule, cost, quality and risk management to ensure timely delivery.
- Lead internal project teams and coordinate with vendors, property management and data center operators to resolve implementation issues.
- Establish operations, maintenance, safety and compliance procedures to ensure stable 24/7 operations.
- Track key metrics including capacity utilization, costs and revenue; prepare reports and emergency response plans to ensure business continuity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering Management, Computer Science, Communications Engineering or related fields.
- 5+ years of project management experience in IDC/data centers, computing centers or cloud computing; GPU facility experience preferred.
- Knowledge of GPU server deployment, power distribution, cooling/HVAC, fire protection and data center infrastructure.
- Strong project management and team leadership skills, with experience in cost, schedule and risk management.
- Excellent English communication skills and familiarity with data center compliance requirements across different regions.
- Willing to undertake international travel and long-term overseas assignments.
