We're looking for Databricks Data Engineers at every stage of their journey, from your first year building pipelines to architects shaping how our clients' data platforms are built. If Databricks is your toolset of choice (or the one you want to master), we want to talk to you.
What will you do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines on Databricks — Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, workflows, notebooks (PySpark/SQL)
- Work end-to-end: from raw ingestion to clean, reliable outputs ready for analytics and modeling
- Apply medallion architecture and best practices for data reliability, performance, and cost efficiency
- Collaborate with architects, consultants, and PMs — translating technical complexity into solutions clients actually understand
- Depending on seniority: mentor junior engineers, lead architecture decisions, or define technical standards across projects
- Contribute to knowledge sharing through internal sessions, webinars, and tech talks
- Keep growing: new Databricks features, certifications, and bring that knowledge back to the team
What we're looking for
- Hands-on experience with Databricks and strong SQL/Python skills — from your first year building pipelines to years of production experience
- Juniors: building on Azure and Python fundamentals
- Mid-level: independently designing & building pipelines (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, performance tuning)
- Senior/Architect: proven track record designing Databricks-based platforms and leading technical decisions across client projects
- Solid experience with Azure, at any level
- Experience with AI coding tools, like Claude Code or other
- Hands-on, proactive approach — you take ownership and follow through
- Experience with BI/visualization tools or consulting/client-facing work is a plus
- Fluent Czech and English on a professional level
What can you expect
- Work on international projects using cutting-edge data tools – seriously, the best tech available
- Solid benefits package: extra 10 days of leave, Multisport card, generous annual learning budget, open bonus structure, local and international knowledge sharing sessions, and more
- Hybrid flexibility – we meet in the Prague office regularly (around 2–3 days a week), and you’re free to choose what works best for you beyond that
- AI-friendly by default – we stay current, experiment with new tools, and treat AI as a genuine work partner
- Genuinely collaborative culture, that actually means something: real teamwork, support, knowledge sharing, flexibility and fun
- Continuous learning and development to keep your skills sharp
- A diverse, global team of friendly data professionals, who really get along
- If you're a keen sportsman, you'll find plenty of company here 🏃♀️
