About the Role
The Data Engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining robust data pipelines that support AI model training and deployment. This role requires close collaboration with AI Researchers and ML Engineers to ensure data quality, structured preprocessing, and dataset readiness for model development. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Python, SQL, and ETL processes, with a focus on automation, scalability, and feature engineering for high-performance AI/ML models.
Responsibilities
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines to support AI and ML model training workflows.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and structured preprocessing for high-performance AI models.
• Collaborate with AI Researchers to prepare, validate, and fine-tune datasets for experimentation.
• Develop and manage ETL workflows for data ingestion, transformation, and integration.
• Perform feature engineering and implement data validation checks to ensure data integrity.
• Support model data structuring and maintenance of datasets and metadata repositories.
Required Skills and Technologies
• 1–1.5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar AI/ML-related role.
• Understanding of LLM, SLM, and BERT model fine-tuning and data preparation for training.
• Strong programming skills in Python (Pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch) and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with data pipeline tools (Airflow, Luigi, or similar frameworks).
• Knowledge of ETL design, data quality management, and version control (Git).
• Familiarity with AI/ML data requirements and collaboration with model development teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
Experience Requirements
