Data Engineer - Indexing

Design, build, and operate real-time data infrastructure supporting high-throughput streaming and analytics. Architect pipelines, data models, and storage solutions; deploy and maintain production systems; prototype data features; solve consistency and performance challenges; and own features from concept to production.

Responsibilities

• Architect high-performance data solutions
• Build and ship streaming data pipelines
• Design data models and analytics databases
• Implement real-time processing systems
• Prototype and iterate on new data features
• Solve issues related to data consistency and performance
• Deploy and maintain production data infrastructure
• Take ownership of features end-to-end
• Collaborate with engineers and product leaders

Requirements

• Experience in backend systems, data engineering, distributed systems, or high-performance computing
• Experience with databases, streaming systems, or analytics platforms such as ClickHouse or TimescaleDB
• Knowledge of Rust, Go, or other systems programming languages
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in ambiguous environments
• Proven ownership and ability to lead features with minimal guidance
• Experience in high-growth or startup environments
• Familiarity with crypto, DeFi, or blockchain technologies is a plus
