Data Governance Lead

Location: Riyadh, KSA (on-site) | Saudi nationals only | Experience: 8+ years in data governance / data management | 6-month Contract Renewable

About the role

You'll lead enterprise-wide data governance initiatives — designing policies across DAMA data management domains, driving NDMO/NDI compliance in coordination with SDAIA, and embedding a strong data culture across the organization.

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or compliance roles, ideally within Saudi government or public sector entities


• Proven track record with NDMO and/or NDI compliance frameworks


• Strong knowledge of DAMA-DMBOK data management domains


• Experience developing data governance policies, procedures, and frameworks


• Background in change management and stakeholder engagement across large organizations


• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master's is a plus)


• Relevant certifications (e.g., CDMP, NDMO-related certifications) are a strong advantage


• Fluency in Arabic and English


• Immediate joiner ONLY!!!

Nice to have

• Exposure to data analytics/BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, SAP)


• Experience with data classification, protection, and quality frameworks


• Familiarity with ISO data/information management standards
