Design Engineer (Civil Engineering Construction)

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with Construction Teams, QP(D), QPS, LTA and Other Sub-Contractors PE for design works.
• Prepare Shop Drawings for temporary works and permanent works. Check shop drawings produced by sub-cons and seek clearance from QP(D) and LTA in-house design team.
• Monitor progress of design submission packages that are tasked by the design manager, check design for completion and efficiency.
• Review design calculations. Provide design calculations for miscellaneous designs(whenever necessary) as per construction team request and obtain PE endorsement.
• Resolve issues, provide insight and escalate critical concerns to the Design Manager.

Requirements:

• At least Bachelor's Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil/ Structural) or equivalent.
• At least 2-3years of working experience in the construction industry (design) or related field.
• LTA experienced will be preferred.
