Design Engineer (Civil & Structural)

Job Description :

• Responsible for the execution of civil and structural design involving the preparation of calculations and review of structural design drawings in accordance to customers' specifications, applicable codes, standards and other generally accepted practices.
• Assist in producing tender specifications and design requirements for calling of tender contracts.
• Undertake detailed design of buildings and civil infrastructures.
• Work with Qualified Person (QP) to develop design scheme for civil and structural works.
• Involve in project planning, implementation and close monitoring of projects.
• Project coordination including submission to local authorities and liaison during the construction stage.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and authorities on technical matters.

Requirements :

• Candidates must possess at least degree in Civil Engineering (preferably recognised by PE Board).
• Engineers with minimum 1 years' experience in relevant engineering design work. Conversant with latest design codes and authority requirements (Codes of practice, directives, etc.).
• With good attitude towards work and timeline.
