Role Overview
The DPM serves as the technical lead during the early design stage of projects, acting as the key coordination point for cross-disciplinary design management and project information control.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the early design stages (SD/DD) of large-scale public building projects in Singapore, covering architecture, structural, façade, and other disciplines.
- Act as the company's key technical representative and lead frequent technical meetings with international clients, leading international architects, and consultant teams.
- Establish and manage the project's information flow and document control systems, filtering and organising large volumes of project information to ensure alignment across all disciplines.
- Manage the early-stage design schedule and proactively identify design risks.
- Ensure the company's design proposals and detailed design development comply with contractual requirements and local Singapore regulations/codes.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in a similar role with a large design consultancy, international engineering consultancy, or multinational general contractor.
- Strong cross-disciplinary coordination and project management capabilities, with a good understanding of overseas project development and design processes.
- Excellent business and technical English communication skills, with the confidence to deliver presentations and manage complex stakeholder discussions entirely in English, even under pressure.
