Design Qualification Engineer III
Design Qualification Engineer (DQE) III to support testing and validation for Ezurio’s new product implementation (NPI), including radio modules, various systems-on-modules (SOMs), and communication platforms. Under general direction, designs, develops, and implements bus verification and validation for NPI products, and provides test reports to design engineers. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, delivering comprehensive bus interface validation, defining and executing various high-speed and system reliability tests, and ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction. This position is based onsite at our Taiwan location.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design bus interface validation test plans that comply with industry standards and requirement specifications.
- Define and set up test configurations for individual test cases using supported equipment and fixtures.
- Collaborate with software engineers to define requirements for executing validation tests.
- Provide documentation related to test design, requirements, and operator instructions.
- Execute tests and provide well-documented reports with analysis results and feedback for design engineers.
- Work with product development engineers to identify issues by collecting and analyzing detailed test data and debug outputs.
- Develop and maintain project timelines to ensure all key deliverables are met.
REQUIREMENTS
- Understanding of hardware design circuits for radio modules and SOMs.
- Experience using equipment such as a network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, and oscilloscope to perform measurements.
- Experience with high-speed bus interface electrical specifications and compliance test methods.
- Good soldering skills to support qualification test measurements.
- Experience in signal integrity (SI) measurements.
- Understanding of wireless and high-speed product development is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from a broader engineering team.
- Ability to work with management to establish project milestones, while independently executing project plans with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work toward defined objectives with little direct supervision.
- Possess knowledge of new product development processes and workflows.
- Experience participating in multidisciplinary product development teams.
- Candidate must be an excellent team player.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 8–12 years of experience in a related role.
- Experience in Wi-Fi/Bluetooth hardware design and debugging.
- Experience executing hardware verification and validation tests in a product development environment.
- Experience testing wireless technologies (especially IEEE 802.11 and Bluetooth) is highly preferred.
