Design Technology And Computer Science Teacher
Repton Dubai is seeking to appoint an outstanding DT & computer science teacher for an August 2026 start.
We seek a versatile design & technology and computer science teacher with dual subject expertise. You will teach across both disciplines at Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering practical design projects alongside digital and computational thinking. This role offers the opportunity to integrate design and technology with coding, digital fabrication, and systems thinking, creating innovative cross-curricular learning experiences.

Key responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver the IB Design & Technology course to the highest standards
- Teach Design & Technology across KS3-5, including IB and A Level pathways
- Utilize our state-of-the-art facilities, including laser cutters, 3D printers, and CNC routers
- Deliver engaging Design & Technology extra-curricular activities (ECAs) to further enhance the subject's profile and inspire students beyond the classroom
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the department and wider school community
- Contribute proactively to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
- Maintain high expectations and drive excellent student outcomes
Essential requirements - qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Design & Technology or a directly related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and PGCE
- Minimum of 2 years post-qualification teaching experience
Experience & skills:
- Proven experience teaching Design & Technology
- Proficiency in CAD software and ability to integrate digital design tools into teaching
- Experience teaching across KS3-5, including A Level
