Developer Advocate

Write open-source code, samples, and plugins for the Unlock Protocol; design developer-facing features and experiences; create tutorials and presentations; lead live-coding sessions; review code; support external developers; build demos; and help lead external moderator teams.

Responsibilities

• Write open-source code, samples, and plugins.
• Design and specify features for third-party developers and creators.
• Write tutorials and record presentations.
• Perform live-coding sessions at conferences and events.
• Review code and provide feedback to internal and third-party developers.
• Build demos with strategy and partnerships.
• Motivate, empower, and lead external moderator teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as an individual contributor software developer.
• Production-grade code including tests and documentation.
• Extensive JavaScript experience across front-end and backend development.
• User experience design and visual design skills.
• Experience with blockchain, NFTs, Ethereum, or web3.
• Independence and proactivity.
• Ability to motivate, empower, and lead external moderator teams.
• Ability to quickly learn and teach technologies and frameworks.
• Excellent English communication skills.
