Developer Evangelist - Community (APAC)

Act as the public face of Xsolla in the game developer ecosystem by building trust, engagement, and advocacy across online and offline communities. Create technical content involving coding, SDKs, and APIs, maintain a community presence, and build relationships that help game developers discover, adopt, and succeed with Xsolla products. Translate complex technical concepts into accessible content and travel regularly across APAC for partner visits, conferences, and training events.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain a strong presence in game developer communities.
  • Represent Xsolla at developer conferences, meetups, and industry events.
  • Organize and participate in developer meetups, hackathons, and regional gatherings.
  • Produce technical and inspirational content including articles, blog posts, tutorials, videos, webcasts, looms, and social media content.
  • Keep content up to date with product releases and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Developer Marketing to amplify content reach and engagement.
  • Act as a liaison between developers and Xsolla Product and Technical teams.
  • Gather and share community feedback to improve product features and documentation.
  • Identify lighthouse integration opportunities and partner with internal teams to deliver them.
  • Track content reach, community growth, participation, and developer satisfaction.
  • Use insights to refine outreach tactics and maximize impact.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in Developer Advocacy, Community Management, or related roles, ideally in the game industry.
  • Technical background and software development experience.
  • Understanding of game development processes and tools across mobile, PC, and/or web.
  • Ability to produce engaging technical content across multiple formats.
  • Strong presence in online developer communities and comfort with public speaking.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and interpersonal skills; English is required.
  • Ability to travel for partner visits, conferences, and training events.
  • Fluency in Korean or Japanese is a nice-to-have.
