DevOps engineer

Build and maintain blockchain networks and protocols while improving infrastructure security, automation, and monitoring. Run testnets, build secure and scalable infrastructure, administer Linux servers, document systems, develop threat models and risk assessments, and apply networking security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Build secure and reliable infrastructure to monitor, detect, and mitigate performance and security issues.
• Administer Linux servers and proactively manage infrastructure health, stability, and availability.
• Create and maintain system procedural and technical documentation.
• Apply peer-to-peer networking security best practices.
• Create, maintain, and communicate threat models and risk assessments.

Requirements

• Experience as a DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineer.
• Experience managing highly available server infrastructure.
• Experience designing secure network, system, and application architectures.
• Experience setting up and maintaining software in data center and cloud environments.
• Deep understanding of sockets, the full networking stack, and Linux security.
• Knowledge of automation and CI/CD processes and tools.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud deployment technologies.
• Understanding of blockchain technology, cryptography, and security best practices.
• Open-source contributions, teamwork, flexibility, and comfort with ambiguity.
