DevOps Engineer
Manage and scale production infrastructure, implement development and automation tools, and establish DevOps processes across development, testing, release, and support. Configure cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and infrastructure-as-code systems. Troubleshoot issues, improve operational processes, deploy cybersecurity measures, manage incidents and root-cause analysis, coordinate with customers and stakeholders, report progress, and mentor team members.
Responsibilities
- Understand customer requirements and project KPIs
- Implement development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
- Plan team structure, activities, and project-management involvement
- Manage stakeholders and external interfaces
- Set up required tools and infrastructure
- Define development, testing, release, update, and support processes
- Review, verify, and validate software code
- Troubleshoot and fix code bugs
- Monitor process adherence and improve processes
- Build automated processes
- Deploy cybersecurity measures through vulnerability assessment and risk management
- Manage incidents and perform root-cause analysis
- Coordinate and communicate with team members and customers
- Select and deploy CI/CD tools
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines
- Mentor and guide team members
- Monitor customer experience and KPIs
- Report progress to management and customers
Requirements
- 3–4 years of experience working with production systems and managing large-scale infrastructure
- 2+ years of Linux system-administration experience
- Experience managing AWS, Azure, or GCP public-cloud infrastructure
- Knowledge of IAM concepts and IAM policy configuration
- Knowledge of DNS
- Experience with GitLab and Kubernetes
- Experience configuring Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience configuring end-to-end CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, Jenkins, and GitOps principles
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform
- Proficiency in Linux administration, security, and shell scripting including Bash and Awk
- Ability to troubleshoot Docker and Kubernetes environments
- Experience with monitoring systems such as DataDog, Grafana, or Zabbix
- Experience with logging and log-collection tools such as Fluentd, Logstash, or Kibana
- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Interest in blockchain technology and full-node setup for blockchains such as ETH and BTC
- Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Aurora
- Business analysis skills
