DevOps Engineer

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to help design, build and maintain scalable, reliable pipelines and infrastructure supporting our technology, trading platform, and market access teams. You’ll also help set standards and best practices across teams, while building self-serve tooling that improves reliability and developer productivity.
Your future role at QRT
- Design and implement development tooling and platform infrastructure to improve reliability and developer productivity
- Build, automate and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines and release processes
- Manage environment deployments, upgrades and migrations
- Partner with software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and engineering standards and works as intended in production
- Build tools and APIs to reduce the occurrence of errors and improve user experience
- Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems and their APIs
- Improve observability and operational readiness through improvements to monitoring, alerting and runbooks
Your present skillset
- Experience operating infrastructure in hybrid environments (on-prem and AWS)
- Experience with Kubernetes (preferably AWS EKS) and AWS infrastructure (EC2, VPC/networking, load balancing)
- Good knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, OpenTofu)
- Good knowledge of Windows & Linux scripting
- Good knowledge of Python
- Good knowledge of Git
- Working knowledge of C/C++, Make, CMake
- Experience working within a mature CI/CD highly desirable.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana; Elasticsearch, Splunk, Coralogix
- Problem solving attitude with a focus on automation
- Strong team player with great communication skills
