DevOps Engineer
Design, automate, and scale cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Python; deploy and optimize Kubernetes microservices; build CI/CD pipelines; configure AWS networking and security controls; improve observability and cloud costs; and investigate production issues.
Responsibilities
- Automate cloud infrastructure and operational processes with Terraform and Python.
- Deploy, scale, and optimize Kubernetes microservices on EKS.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Configure multi-account AWS architectures, VPCs, routing, and security controls.
- Monitor system performance and optimize cloud costs using CloudWatch, Datadog, or ELK.
- Ensure deployments comply with SOC 2 and PCI-DSS requirements.
- Build reusable Infrastructure as Code modules for production.
- Monitor system health and perform root-cause analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3–5 years of hands-on DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering experience.
- Production public-cloud experience, primarily with AWS.
- Advanced Terraform expertise and solid Python coding skills.
- Deep understanding of cloud networking, VPC routing, and security frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, Docker, and modern CI/CD tools.
- A code-first mindset focused on eliminating operational toil through automation.
- Excellent English communication skills and ability to collaborate across distributed, multicultural teams.
- Nice to have: high-volume fintech, payment processing, or PCI-DSS experience; multi-cloud exposure; AWS DevOps Engineer or CKA certification.
