DevOps Engineer

Build and maintain blockchain networks and protocols, improve infrastructure security, automation, and monitoring, run testnets, administer Linux systems, maintain documentation, and develop threat models and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Build secure and reliable infrastructure to monitor, detect, and mitigate performance and security issues.
• Perform system administration for Linux servers and manage system health, stability, and availability.
• Create and maintain system procedural and technical documentation.
• Implement peer-to-peer networking security best practices.
• Create, maintain, and communicate threat models and risk assessments for all operated systems.

Requirements

• Experience as a DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineer.
• Ability to program in Python, Go, Bash, or JavaScript.
• Experience managing highly available server infrastructures.
• Experience designing secure networks, systems, and application architectures.
• Experience setting up and maintaining software in data centers and cloud environments.
• Deep understanding of sockets, networking, and Linux security.
• Knowledge of automation and CI/CD processes and tools.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud deployment technologies.
• Flexibility, teamwork, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to take ownership.
• Understanding of blockchain technology, cryptography, security best practices, or open-source contribution is a plus.
