Director Application Security

Lead application and cloud security teams, shape strategic direction, conduct risk assessments and threat modeling, oversee multi-cloud controls, embed security into development and deployments, and drive security programs and vulnerability operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Application and Cloud Security teams
• Conduct risk assessments, threat modeling, and secure design reviews
• Oversee security controls across AWS, GCP, and Azure
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, and customer support
• Embed security into product development and cloud deployments
• Drive the application security program
• Adopt cloud security technologies
• Analyze and triage vulnerabilities
• Manage security operations

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in security architecture, software development, cloud security, or a related field
• 5+ years in a leadership role
• Engineering background
• Experience leading high-performing security teams
• Strong application and cloud security knowledge
• Experience with penetration testing, red teaming, and fuzz testing
• Knowledge of encryption, identity and access management, and network security
• Experience with CSPM, IaC, SAST, secrets management, Kubernetes, and CWPP
• Professional security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or OSCP
