Director, Design

Join UTA Brand Studio as a collaborative Design Director and creative strategist responsible for client brand management, corporate identity design, concept development, and culturally relevant creative solutions for entertainment and media clients.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project teams in conceptualizing and building visual identity programs.
  • Create emotional and resonant brand worlds for clients and brand initiatives.
  • Innovate, design, and expand in-house marketing and communication initiatives.
  • Design identity and campaign solutions for global entertainment and media events.
  • Develop design solutions across print, packaging, and digital channels.
  • Lead the design process from sketching and brainstorming through final production.
  • Build assets and guidelines for delivery to clients and partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a relevant field strongly preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in a design or branding agency or in-house design studio.
  • Demonstrated portfolio showing strong conceptual thinking and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and collaborative.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet competing project deadlines.
  • Ability to inspire and learn from teammates.
  • Excellent typography and drawing skills.
  • Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
  • Experience with Keynote and Canva is a strong plus.
  • Experience with motion graphics, AI image development, and 3D cinema programs is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
