JOB DESCRIPTION:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct, evaluate and continuously improve the organization’s human resources function and performance.
- Participate and help facilitate Senior Leadership and Board meetings offering insights in development of departmental initiatives in implementation of strategic company plan.
- Develop framework for bonus compensation for all employees tied to performance metrics and strategic goals of company.
- Liaison with outside compensation consultants to recommend framework of executive compensation based on stock appreciation rights.
- Develop strategic staffing plans and programs to identify and develop talent within and outside the organization for all positions.
- Undertake competitive intelligence to benchmark our company versus industry competition.
- Assist CEO in guiding all managers to strategic goal execution.
- Work with CEO in updating performance review and progressive discipline process ensuring managers are trained and following set expectations.
- Liaison with outside legal counsel as needed.
- Review benefits plan design and performance ensuring plans support corporate objectives.
- Develop appropriate HR analytics and metrics to drive workforce effectiveness and HR efficiency.
- Identify and select a benefits broker to assist in administration of various employee programs.
- Consult with management and team members to improve working relationships, build employee morale, increase productivity and retention.
- Supervise, motivate and develop a team of dedicated HR professionals; encourage their growth in skills, knowledge and professional standing.
- Establish, develop, and manage an effective wellness program for employees.
- Develop human resources planning models to identify competency, knowledge and talent gaps.
- Develop and update company safety plan and programs in accordance with OSHA standards driving safety enhancements throughout the company.
