Director Of Sales (DOS)
• Achieve daily targeted number of sales calls with effectiveness.
• Develop business leads for the Hotel on a weekly basis.
• Prepare monthly list of key accounts to penetrate for the following month.
• Plan a minimum of 2 site inspections/entertainment per week to qualified potential accounts or new accounts.
• Prepare monthly action plan for main market segment, monthly review account profile on room nights production and average rate.
• Monitor competitors’ rate strategy, account penetration and marketing activities to maintain a competitive edge and to ensure the rate loading in all sales platform is maintained and in order
• Fully responsible of accounts under his/her management, including contracting, updating profile and renewing contracts.
• Update & upgrade knowledge and awareness of special events, conventions, business meetings and other opportunities in the market, which would help for the sales of the facilities provided
• Up-sell, cross-sell and promote Hotel facilities & services at every available opportunity in order to maximize sales revenue and analyzes service issues and identifies trends.
• Conduct negotiations to achieve the best profit and rates for the Hotel.
• Achieve Accor Live Limitless Meeting Planner (ALLMP) target on monthly basis
• Updating ANAIS system on daily meetings / appointments with clients & weekly / monthly report submission required by DOSM
• Conduct Banquet / Group Run Down Meeting on weekly basis with the Operation Heads to ensure the communication flow (verbal & writing) are in order and our brand promise is delivered to our guest.
• Ensure to report regularly to the DOSM on progress of the various activities, provide information about prospective customers, make forecasts and track current customer feedback.
• Makes and executes the necessary decisions to keep property moving forward toward achievement of goals.
• Works with Rooms management team to develop an operational strategy that is aligned with the brand’s business strategy and leads its execution.

Experience/Certificates/Education
- Experience: At least 3–5 years of experience in revenue management or related roles in the hospitality industry, ideally in a luxury hotel setting.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Skills & Attributes:
- Strong knowledge of revenue management principles, including forecasting, pricing strategies, and market segmentation.
- Experience with revenue management software (e.g., IDeaS, Revinate, RMS), and proficiency in using Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Solid understanding of hotel distribution channels, GDS systems, OTAs, and direct booking platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with other departments and external partners.
- Knowledge of the Dubai hospitality market and trends would be an advantage.
